Senior Database Administrator

Job Description

Responsible for manipulating and investigating the database system issue and problems based on sales operation and warehouse inventory management data.
Responsible to analyze, maintain, upgrade and modify Integrated distribution operational system based on the sales operation requirements.
Responsible for helping and supporting users of the distribution system used by company operation as a first level support.
Database administration for off the shelf and internally developed applications, ensuring continuous 24x7
Install, maintain, support, upgrade, patching of multiple databases of medium to high complexity
Build scripts automating the daily operations of database management
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs

Qualifications and requirements

Bachelor's Degree (or) Diploma in IT related field or Subject.
Minimum of 2 years progressively responsible experience with MS SQL server and database management systems.
Experience writing SQL and T-SQL queries to investigate issues to support company operation
Having knowledge/experience in the distribution/FMCG industry would be an advantage.
Able to communicate with foreign and local project members in the English language very well.
Excellent knowledge of database backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL.
Able to work within and after company operations working hours based on operation requirements working hours will be negotiable.
Should be willing to learn new technologies and be a self-starter
Flexible working hours
Able to travel when there is a project.
